I've 'stripped' my warmmy t-shirt off to reveal..my boring standard black leotard...and am putting on my shoes..btw, what's the song, jon/chi hou ? that ' take off your shoes baby ' one ????

My leg can go higher...Can hear Celeste in the background............

Ooh, my arabesque ! ;) The arabesque is my 2nd favourite line in the world, next to the penche !

We were at the gym, right after Pilates class. ( Thank you Bossie for letting me off that day..if you ever read this...) I was feeling a little stiff actually...Pilates is a great body conditioning class but nothing warms up my muscles like a good Ballet barre and Jazz jumps.









I'm ever grateful to my loving Mom, Celeste, Ms Ellie, Jessica, and Zhou Lao Shi. I tell you, if you told me a year ago I could do a 160 degree developpe in second position, turn double pirrouttes, do a 180 degree split jump/grande jete in the air, and have such passion for dance...I'd tell you that you're nuts !!! I didn't put some of them here la, from some idiots' point of view, girls who have no hips and who open their legs that wide must be coo coo doo doo's kan ? And they're far too private anyway.. ;)









Looking at these photos actually give me strength, courage, and inspiration. They tell me that I can do it. I can pass that Jazz 5 exam. I can.





*** I meant to put these pictures up ages ago...but uni applications got in the way...I've lots more actually..Alexa took 116 pictures ! Urgh, but WHY DO THEY TAKE SO LONG TO UPLOAD ??? I"D MAKE THEM BIGGER BUT THEY'D TAKE TWICE AS LONG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Putting on my ballet shoes ! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE ballet shoes...Whenever I feel like buying new clothes, I always look at them and think, ballet shoes or new clothes ? Ballet shoes always win !

I can actually hold my leg up higher now, I think....But this is pretty high already..though I can hear Celeste saying, in the background, ' THAT LEG CAN GO HIGHER..."

Here are some of the ballet photos Alexa took for me to use for my audition....some of them really stun me. I've never been able to lift my leg that high if you asked me a year ago.

~this is my first dance photo experience k...now, I truly understand what they mean by hold still for the camera..i still think my leg could have gotten higher and more arched...maybe I'll do a second round but I'm quite pleased with some of them..these are some of my fav's...I didn't show all the 116 pics we took - FAINTS!!!
