One of my best friends fr WMS asked me to blog about him. Thus, the purpose of this post; TO SHOUT TO THE WORLD THAT ALEX HOOI's BDAY IS ON THE 26th of JANUARY and HE"S NINETEEN. YOU ROCK ALEX XOXOXOXO !!!!!!!!!!!

Also that he's one of my best guy friends ever, who spent ages and ages and ages listening to me moan about my guy problems, attractive factor, and many other relationship issues besides helping me tone down my geek image a little...

I've prayed for him many times too, he's really one of the people from WMS who genuinely cared about me. Not to mention he was one of the first to extend his friendship to me, when I first gawked at the sophistication of Wesleyans. I think I'm still not Wesleyan enough, but I've gained so much from Wesley - friends, teachers, the experiences, the memories,

Everytime I sit on the STAR Lrt to go to our old school, I think of you three, my LRT mates who went back home with me on the train almost everyday for TWO YEARS. You spoke Mandarin and sat down and tried to catch up on sleep or the latest gossip. I stood up, spoke in haltingly shy English, and pretended to understand@be interested in your conversation.

Every morning I'd see you and your sis. You sleeping..always...When you got prefectship and had to wear a tie, at least you'd wake up 2-3 stations earlier...And congrats on your promotion as Special Functions Coordinator of the WMS Prefectorial Board, the post that's so sesuai for this wannabe event/party planner, the first guy I've met who's actually capable of doing so and Funding Director of Interact - lol,so you !

I only went out with this guy...like once..in our entire friendship...lousy-nya...
He drives an X-Trail - bloody bugger with his money,... but he's never stingy la, thank God, and he's really sweet to his sis, helping her to get fat by buying lots and lots of choc/sweets for her

Drag racing in Bukit Jalil with you was fun...my first time...in an X trail lol !!!

And I'm really proud of you Alex. Hope you do great in Sunway, surrounded by your best friends and beloved family ! I know you'll find love again !!! Or maybe you already have ?

I Steph Lee, can safely vouch that he's one of the most loyal, loving, generous, and fun loving guys on earth ! Plus, he's matured a great deal, and worth so much more now... hehehe

The Job Hunters

Why do I need to job hunt around Pavi ? I hate that building, plus I swore never to step in there on the account of it being the site of my old school ( BBGS ) and the sole reason I was deprived of a BBGS tradition and historical education. - Absolutely unjust. Besides, I totally don't need a job. I need more time....

But JL, aka SL's best friend, wanted to go TOPLESS, sorry, TOPSHOP to look for a job. So okay, being the loyal friend I strive to be, I followed her and together we must have irritated half the sales assistants in the entire building. We went to almost 10-15 shops....' do you have a vacancy ?? ' , ' hi, we're looking for a job ', ' wow, we saw the sign outside and we'd love to apply ' , etc...

The best line of the day goes to ESPRIT. The conversation went like this;

Steph Lee : " Hi, Harris ! " ( All perky and smiley and shop assistant potential-ey. )

Harris * Never met us before and didn't know who the heck we were * : Er... ( looking around and really sheepish, like he was trying to recall where he'd seen us before. Duh I'd know your name, you're wearing it on this gargartuan name tag ;P ^^ boys...)

Steph Lee : Oh no no, we've never met. We're actually looking for a job here and were

wondering whether you guys had a vacancy...

Harris : Oh, oh, okay, em..let me get you some forms.

Anyway, I've high hopes for Jenn !!! ( Fingers, Toes, and everything else crossed !!! )

TOPSHOP was okay, ESPRIT was pretty optimistic, MARC was sweet and encouraging,OH CHA CHA was the most serious and the first to talk about salary and commitment. starbucks was and still is such a disappointment. The rest were pleasant enough but TIMES Bookstore was the best in my opinion.

I had to write an essay to apply for TIMES, isn't that absolutely the BEST way of applying for a job for us bibliophiles ?!!!!!!? Yayzers !!!! *** Stephy Lee very very the happy. Totally blasted an essay in 3 mins flat !!!! *** Plus only 4 hours of work a day ! *** Gleefully dreaming of books,books,books ! To be near you, touch you, smell you, feel you, understand you, dive deep into you,..

( dreamily sighs while JL buys her --- magazine for her parents. Didn't even notice her absence, too engrossed in trying to convince them to pay me to molest the gorgeous books )

4 Interviews + Goodness knows how many job application forms + 3 hours of walking around niolivap + Meeting an old BBGS girl at Marc J + Live Jazz & Salsa Music + Best Friend + Tons of Gossip

= Productive outing

Anyone know of any jobs that'd allow me to work only Tues and Weds afternoons ?

I'm working whole of Mon and half of Thur and half of Sun, will be in Singapore on Fri's to Sat's and have to attend church on Sun mornings.

Oh, and have to find time to squeeze in Soul Fuel ( God / devotion / Bible study / quiet time, whatever ppl call it ) driving lessons, personal driving practice, own dance practice - VERY VERY IMPORTANT -, sleep, and meals ?

Should I even be committing to a job ???

Eh, we forgot to check out the telesales job at Prince Hotel !!! and all those job postings in the Star Classifieds !
